Beautiful cottage in fantastic sea front location, place was spotless and nothing was a problem for the hosts, direct access to the beach which when the tide is out so vast with plenty of space for dogs to run about....perfect, and the most amazing sunsets !!!!

Seaglass cottage more than exceeded our expectations for a relaxing holiday. The cottage was immaculate and had every facility/amenity you could possibly want. The location was perfect for a relaxing getaway, but our kids also had a brilliant time with the beach and park on our doorstep! Highly recommend and hope to return soon!

Can’t recommend this beautiful cottage highly enough. No stone left unturned, lots of little touches to make your stay extra comfortable. The bottle of fizz just topped it off. We will most definitely be back xx

If you get the chance to stay at Seaglass cottage, take it. It’s in a fab location facing the beach, adults, children and dogs will all love the location. The cottage is out of this world, gorgeous inside and outside with all home comforts. Thank you for making us feel so welcome x

Sea glass cottage is in a great location, on the edge of the lakes and instant access to the beach. Alison was an amazing host. Thoughtful touches throughout the property and well presented. Everything you could possibly need was included. The bottle of Prosecco was appreciated and happily drank overlooking the beach at Mile fort 21. We only managed to visit one of the local pubs, but very friendly staff. I would definitely recommend Sea glass cottage.

Over the weekend we have enjoyed playing on the park, playing football, riding our bikes, making towers with stones on the beach, making footprints in the sand and capturing memories in photography. We have also embraced the lovely log fire, read books and magazines and played board games.
I found the conservatory a lovely place to sit and chill, read my book, listen the lapping of the waves while the baby slept through the day and the big boys practiced their penalties!
We dined at the Allonby tea rooms for lunch and enjoyed the Cod Father in the evening.
The facilities at Sea Glass Cottage were fantastic, it felt like a cosy home from home from the second we stepped through the door.

Sea Glass Allonby Sign
A gem of a cottage - well appointed, clean and close to beach and amenities. Ideal place for a getaway would highly recommend.

The cottage has everything you need and more, is spotless and thoughtfully decorated and has all the home comforts you want when away. We have fallen in love with Allonby, the beach and sea glass and we are counting the days down for our next stay in April

As much as I’d like to keep it as our secret getaway, I would highly recommend Sea Glass Cottage to anyone looking for a great base to relax and enjoy the Cumbrian coast

Absolutely perfect, just the calm and peaceful bolthole we needed.
And another: A wonderful little house in a beautiful location. It was warm and cosy in all weathers and it is so well equipped that you really need take very little with you. The beach is directly outside the door and there are paths to walk along beside the shore if the tide is in. It is very well maintained and extremely clean.
Another: We’ve had a wonderful couple of days at your place. Everything we could possibly need was there (and more!). The location was super, we just loved to sit in the conservatory and watch the world go by.

Sea Glass Allonby Tea Time
This was our second time staying at the sea glass cottage and our little family had such a great weekend again. The cottage is such a lovely, well kept, comfy, clean and cozy place with lots of extras to help make your stay an enjoyable one.

Everything was thought of before we arrived. Useful information around the house. Very comfortable and relaxing.

Our stay coincided with the mini ‘beast from the east’ weather. The cottage was toastie warm with the sun room being perfect for breakfast and late afternoon drinks. We watched the sunsets and then amazing starry skies. We didn’t need to use the log burner. The kitchen was so well equipped and we all felt it was just like home. The sitting room was very comfortable. We all slept well and enjoyed pulling curtains to views of the sea and Scottish hills. I will be recommending Sea Glass Cottage and would love to visit again.

5* The cottage is lovely and cosy, really well looked after and very well equipped. Has a lovely wood burner fire, perfect for cosying up in front of on a chilly night. Spent so much time on the beach which is straight out in front of the cottage and perfect for dogs as well as kids.

Old Allonby
Seaglass was a perfect base for us to both visit friends who live nearby and to explore the Lakes. It had everything we needed and more and was extremely clean and tidy. It was ideal for us as a family including our two dogs, we wouldn’t hesitate to use it again or recommend it to others! All credit to the owners who even came to check we were settled in.

I was well impressed with the facilities and the decor of the whole house was to a very high standard and of a very good taste. It felt homely and welcoming from the entrance to the back door, and the bedroom with a view to the sea was just perfect for a relaxing time by the sea side! The log burner and the conservatory were the cherry on top of the cake, though! =)
